CPR Log Cleaner
Clean and brighten logs and wood with CPR Log Cleaner and Brightener. CPR removes surface dirt and pollen, kills mold, and keeps your logs looking fresh.
Mix CPR oxygenated bleach powder with water to prepare the cleaning solution. CPR is safe to use around pets and kids.
Where to Use CPR
• Use on most any exterior wood surface (see Where Not to Use for exceptions).
• Will not damage or discolor most building materials.
Where Not to Use CPR
• Do not use on high-tannin woods like Redwood and Douglas Fir.
Mixing Strength Options:
• Cleaner Strength: Use for less severe discoloration and surface cleaning. Mix 1/2 of the container with 4 gallons of clean water in a clean 5-gallon plastic pail.
• Brightener Strength: Use for aggressive cleaning. Mix the entire container with 4 gallons of clean water in a clean 5-gallon plastic pail.
Coverage Rate:
• At either strength, CPR solution covers between 100 and 150 square feet per gallon of mix (500-750 square feet per 5 gallons of mix), depending on the wood porosity.
Application Methods:
• Apply with garden sprayer, brush or mop.
• Always test in an inconspicuous area first.
Application Range:
• 60 ̊-90 ̊F (do not apply to hot, sun-drenched surfaces.)
Working Time of CPR:
1.) 5-20 minutes after application to wood.
2.) 4-6 hours after mixing with water.
How to Mix CPR:
• Stir thoroughly until the powder is mostly dissolved (which will take a few minutes, depending on water temperature).
• The solution will begin to “fizz” as the powder dissolves. Not all of the powder will completely dissolve in the solution; even if all of the powder is not completely dissolved, the solution is very usable.
• For the best and most consistent results, the solution should be used within 4 hours.
Cleaning Up:
• Clean brushes and equipment with soap and water.

Product Questions
-
What wood species is it okay to use CPR on?
CPR will work great on most wood species. You should avoid using it on high-tannin species such as Redwood and Douglas Fir as it can occasionally darken them. Be sure to test CPR in an inconspicuous area before fully applying to your home.
-
Does CPR have to be washed off logs prior to staining with Transformation?
CPR does need to rinsed off the house thoroughly before staining with any stain. It is also advisable to make sure that the house is completely dry before using Transformation Log & Timber as it is an oil-based stain and you do not want to trap any moisture underneath the stain.
-
Can CPR be applied through an airless paint sprayer or will it damage internal parts?
CPR's product literature doesn't address whether you can use it in an airless sprayer so we conferred with Sashco's tech support. We can't advise you to use CPR in an airless sprayer as it could possibly damage the sprayer tip. We recommend mixing and spraying CPR through a garden pump sprayer instead.
